DESCRIPTION:Alan Plater’s 80s TV playscript tells the story of two extrao
 rdinary Burnley women\, the working class suffragist Ada Nield Chew and he
 r daughter Doris.  Broadcast in 1983 and then long lost\, The Clarion Va
 n has been rediscovered by Pendle Radicals researchers and reworked by Ju
 les Gibb.  This ‘work in progress’ sharing event includes rehearsed r
 eadings of extracts\, and discussion about the two women and the wider Cla
