DESCRIPTION:Please note this event was originally advertised as beginning a
 t The Inn on the Wharf\, but the starting point is now Finsley Gate Wharf 
 (better for car parking and meeting as a group!).\n\nJoin local artist and
  Writer Ajaz Qureshi for a gentle\, reflective walk exploring our relation
 ship with nature and place. \n\nWe’ll start at Finsley Gate Wharf (The I
 nn at the Wharf or the incredible Exbury Egg – a floating sculpture insp
 ired by cycles of nature –) before taking a short walk across the Leeds 
 &amp\; Liverpool Canal\, along the famous straight mile\, to Burnley’s T
 hompson Park.\n\nAlong the way\, we’ll pause to reflect\, notice\, and s
 hare. You’ll be invited (but not expected) to read something aloud.\n\nT
 he walk will be gentle and sociable. Expect nature\, conversation\, and po
 etry. Free handouts and canal-themed materials available on the day.\n\nTh
 is event is open to anyone who loves the idea of walking\, talking\, and c
 reating.\n\nWhy Come?\n\n\n 	Because stories live in places — and maybe 
 there’s one waiting out there for you.\n 	Because we’ll walk\, wonder\
 , and maybe share something we didn’t know we had in us.\n 	Because some
 times\, a quiet walk and a blank page are all you need.\n 	Because you’l
 l get some fresh air\, meet some like-minded folk\, and maybe gain some fr
 esh perspectives.  \n 	Because you don’t need to be a ‘writer’ to 
 write.\n 	Because you may just leave with a masterpiece (or the beginning 
 of one).\nBecause it’s free\, and there’ll be tea\, coffee\, and poetr
 y!\n\nInterested in writing your own poetry inspired by our local landscap
 e? This is the second of two events Ajaz is running as part of this year's
  festival\, the first is a writing workshop on Thursday 15th May\, 'Writin
