DESCRIPTION:Old Baby Mackerel are a high-energy bluegrass act that are maki
 ng waves on the international bluegrass scene. They were recently featured
  on BBC 6 Music\, in The British Bluegrass News and completed a run of sol
 d-out shows at venues across the UK\, Ireland and mainland Europe. They ha
 ve played main stage slots at UK festivals such as Glastonbury\, Boomtown\
 , Shambala and Latitude\, as well as festivals such as Westport Bluegrass 
 (Ireland)\, Willisau Bluegrass (Switzerland)\, Nääsville (Sweden)\, Pfla
 sterspektakel (Austria) and Jai Thep (Thailand).\n\nTheir music uses banjo
 \, mandolin\, guitar and double bass to get knees bouncing and elbows swin
 ging to the sweet harmonies\, blistering solos and driving rhythm of the a
 uthentic Bluegrass sound. Be prepared to be transported back in time and s
 pace to early 20th century North America where songs dramatised the small 
 town fascination with locomotion\, love\, violence and the veneration of b
