WHAT

A group show of contemporary art, commissioned especially for Creative Spaces Burnley’s inaugural exhibition at OneTwoThree.

ABOUT

Taking inspiration from the rich history of banners and manifestos, Agree // Disagree is a response to the power of ‘the statement’ both big and small.

Whether political, ambitious, public or private assertions, scribbled down commitments, there is real power and energy for challenging a status quo when declarations of intent are expressed and made visible.

As well as a call to action, the exhibition is also a call to explore ideas, engage with differences and connections. Agree // Disagree is an invitation to find some of the common ground and threads that bind us and to stimulate the conversations that grow and change us.
