We welcome back to Lancashire the Rickard Sisters, Clitheroe born graphic novelists, whose brilliantly realised literary adaptations are published by the leading UK graphic imprint Self Made Hero. After a highly successful version of radical classic The Ragged Trousered Philanthropists, they followed up with the suffragette story No Surrender. Now Sophie and Scarlett turn their attention to Ethel Carnie Holdsworth’s hard hitting tale of mill workers, This Slavery. We can’t wait! The sisters join us for this in conversation event to talk about their journey into publication.
