Join author and illustrator Emma Reynolds for a storytime of her award-winning book ‘Amara and the Bats’.
Interactive storytelling, bat facts game, and bat draw-along! Learn all about bat conservation and how vital and important bats are for the entire ecosystem (and how CUTE they are!) Perfect for tying into STEM and nature curriculum topics and also leading into conversations about peaceful protest, the power of art to make change, the climate, and what kids can do to help both their local bats and help wildlife on a global scale.

This will be part of a a Family Storytelling Festival Day taking place all day at The Mechanics, keep an eye out for more activities added soon! The whole day will be Pay What You Decide – this means that once you’ve attended the event you can make a donation to the festival to cover your tickets.
