A conversation between the Director of The Super SlowWay, Laurie Peake and the ‘Eggman’ Stephen Turner to discuss his new book Everything from the Egg.

The book chronicles the journey of Stephen’s six-metre floating egg-shaped home, art studio and observatory, which has been touring England since 2013 which included a memorable six months in Burnley Wood in 2016. The book documents everyday happenings along the way, mixed with meditations on nature and the inter-connection of life and includes images and video links of different places visited and artworks consequently created or referenced.

We invite you to come along and welcome back the Eggman to Finsley Gate Wharf at 2.30 p.m. on Sunday, June 25th.

The event will take place next at Finsley Gate Wharf as part of Burnley Words.

Afterward, copies of the book will be available to purchase and be signed by the artist at a reduced price of £15 (the usual retail price is £29).
