Over the next couple of years, Culturapedia, (the arts organisation behind the Burnley Words Festival) has amassed a myriad of opportunities for artists to deliver a range of drop-in and one-off workshops. These might be part of our Blackburn and Darwen Markets programs, part of our ReKindle project with Blackburn with Darwen Libraries or our engagement work with Burnley Mechanics or the Words Festival.
Workshops may be performative or involve making something as a group or something to take home. They are all about engagement and bringing people together to encounter an arts activity they would otherwise not experience.We are looking for great artistic experiences but also great communication skills. We are keen to support emerging artists in developing their business practice if needed.
