Celebrate the launch of Writing The Mill with an evening of poetry, prose, and local voices.
Hosted by theatre maker Joyce Branagh (Ladies That…), the event brings together the writers featured in the exhibition to share their work inspired by Burnley’s heritage, landscape, and community. Expect a rich mix of short readings — lyrical, funny, powerful,and moving — as most of the 15 writers share their words.

Joyce will also share some of her own writings, inspired by her time with local Burnley community groups.

The evening and exhibition has been curated by Queen Street Mill’s Young Creatives Group and offers the first chance to experience Writing The Mill.
